Despite having known Dave for so long and sharing so much with him I’ve been finding it incredibly hard to write anything down that I feel does him justice. He was such a loyal, funny and caring (and opinionated!) friend to me.

Im so thankful for all the amazing memories from school, rugby, holidays, nights out and the many nights in watching cooking programs nailing delicious home cooked food! Dave always spoke to me with a smile and that is how I’m going to remember him. It’s so incredibly sad that he left us so soon but he gave so much when he was here and I will always be proud and grateful that I got to call him my best mate.

Dave, you will be forever remembered and sorely missed by me and my family, by everyone that knew you. I'll make sure my two grow up knowing who their uncle Dave was as you were such a big part of who I am. Rest well fella xx love Ryan, Katie, Quinn & Rafe xx
