I met Dave 16 years ago when I met my now husband Ryan, he was the warmest, cuddliest and loveliest man and always made time for me.

I can't quite believe you have gone. I used to love when you would call and chat to me, always asking how i was and what i was upto and how Quinn was and asking to speak to her on the phone, I remember the time she told you she had been making pizza and we had made our own bases, you then spent around 15 minutes telling her how to make the perfect sour dough, she was only 4 but you spoke with such passion and she sat and listened to every word.

I will forever treasure the holiday we had with you down in Cornwall at your Mum and Dads house, we were made to feel so welcome and having you come round every night and have dinner with us and Quinn having lots of cuddles with you will be something I will never forget, we even talked about coming down this summer to bring Rafe to meet you too. He wont get to meet you but he will always know who you are and we will make sure we tell him all the stories of you and his dad growing up, although I may sensor some of it.

You will forever be missed and I only hope you are now at peace, we will treasure all our memories and photos of you and the kids will always know who Uncle Dave was. I will look after the big man for you and promise never to forget you.
